Job Description

The Accounting Bookkeeper is responsible for recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate ledgers, reconciling accounts, and assisting with monthly and year-end close processes. This role is essential for ensuring financial data integrity and supporting management with timely reporting.

• Record day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and customer payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
• Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Assist with payroll processing and related journal entries (if applicable).
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities.
