Job Description

Coda is looking for a mature Accounting Professional to support the accounting team and function of a newly acquired business. This is an established company that recently acquired a large cash infusion due to being purchased by a larger company. This role will work closely with the original founder and manage a small team.

Responsibilities

• Planning, implementing and supervising the department financial strategy
• Managing the company’s financial accounts, and assist with payroll, budget, cash receipts and financial assets
• Handling the company’s transactions and debts
• Managing the staff accountants and AP accountants
• Assisting with the financial audit
• Following proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives
• Monitoring and analyzing financial accounting data
• Creating financial reports based on data analysis
• Making recommendations to business stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5-10 years working in an accounting supervisory function
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
