Our client, an esteemed player in the Industrial sector, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting various assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to teamwork, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Assembly Technician

Location: Shawnee, OK

1st Shift-Pay Range: $16.00
2nd Shift-Pay Range: $16.50

What's the Job?

• Assemble parts to form complete units or subassemblies using hand tools and small power tools.
• Refer to technical drawings and written directions to ensure accurate assembly and testing of hydraulic motors.
• Visually inspect parts for defects and make necessary adjustments for proper fit.
• Perform supportive maintenance duties and ensure compliance with safety processes.
• Assist in maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement and teamwork to achieve departmental goals.

What's Needed?

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of past assembly experience
• Ability to read and use routing sheets and assembly/test instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to OHSA regulations.
