Associate Scientist/Scientist, Pharmacology

Tenvie Therapeutics is seeking a Scientist to join the Pharmacology and Protein Sciences team in our growing organization of passionate researchers. Our dynamic and innovative culture favors highly flexible and organized candidates, eager to learn and confident to work across teams.

Job responsibilities: 

· Spearhead innovative biochemical and cellular pharmacology assay development to accelerate neuroscience drug discovery

· Design and execute complex screening assays using diverse experimental methods 

· Manage external CRO partnerships and implement best practices 

· Drive adoption of innovative technologies 

· Deliver high-quality data analysis and timely reporting 

· Maintain detailed documentation of experiments and safety compliance 

· Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve project goals 

· Stay current with scientific literature and emerging technologies

Successful candidates will meet most of these criteria:

• PhD with 0-4 years’ experience OR Bachelor's/Master's degree with 7+ years drug discovery experience
• Skilled in the development, execution, and interpretation of biochemical and cellular assays, as well as experience with lead discovery and MoA support
• Demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of biochemical and cell biology techniques (mammalian cell culture, transfection/transduction, CRISPR, etc.) and relevant assay detection technologies (ELISA, AlphaLISA, TR-FRET, BRET, flow cytometry, etc.)
• Experience with high-content imaging and screening preferred 
• Proficient with data analysis and visualization tools
• Rigorous quantitative experimentalist with excellent organization and communication skills, and a strong growth mindset
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment to execute on project goals and advance drug discovery
• Must be highly organized, meticulous at record-keeping, and detail-oriented

Expected salary range:

• The base pay range for this position is expected to be $115,000 - $150,000annually
• Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, capabilities, and experience
• The total compensation package for this position also includes equity, bonus, and benefits
