Senior Audit Manager Position Summary

A Senior Audit Manager serves as the key operational leader for multiple client engagements across diverse industries. This role requires a balance of technical accounting expertise, client relationship management, and team leadership to deliver high-quality audit and assurance services while developing staff and maintaining engagement profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all phases of multiple audit engagements, including planning, staffing, scheduling, and execution
• Serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong professional relationships
• Evaluate internal controls, assess audit risks, and develop appropriate audit strategies
• Review work papers, financial statements, and deliverables to ensure compliance with professional standards
• Plan engagement logistics and coordinate with other departments as needed
• Monitor budget realization and manage project economics
• Oversee audit, review, and compilation work programs
• Prepare and review financial statements, notes, schedules, and management letters
• Actively participate in staff development through training, mentoring, and performance feedback
• Collaborate with Partners to address technical issues and engagement challenges

Required Qualifications

• Minimum five years of public accounting experience
• Current CPA license in good standing
• Strong project management and client service abilities
• Excellent technical accounting and auditing knowledge
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
• Commitment to professional development and quality standards
