MedRock Pharmacy is a fast growing compounding pharmacy that focuses on the dermatology field. MedRock Pharmacy is recently opened a second location in Chattanooga.

*Pharmacy Technician* Medrock Pharmacy – Chattanooga , TN

*Position Overview:*

The Pharmacy Technician will primarily do non-sterile compounding and/or data entry and perform all tasks and duties assigned.

For the first 90 days, the technician will be required to work 2 Saturday's per month 9AM to 1PM.

*Job Duties:*

* Assists in maintaining logs, documents and any required paperwork
* Assists in maintaining a clean, safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety and cleanliness.
* Working under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares RXs and compounds of quality, compliant with State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
* Enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions "Life-File"
* Weighing, mixing and packaging of medication, reviewing and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.

*Compensation:* Hourly; $17.50-$19 per hour

*Required Education & Experience:*

Experience in non-sterile compounding is preferred

* 2 years experience
* Active State Pharmacy Technician license

*Preferred Education & Experience:*

* Compounding
* PTCB Certification
* Bilingual in English and Spanish.
* LifeFile Processing System
