Position Summary
The Controller will be a key member of the finance leadership team, overseeing all accounting operations and supporting strategic decision-making. This role will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance with all relevant regulations, and the development of scalable processes that support our growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate, timely financial statements.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development and accountability.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners.
• Partner with the CFO to provide financial insights, forecasting, and analysis for strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
• Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required; MBA preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical accounting skills with deep knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, Business Central or Finance & Operations preferred preferred).
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing accounting teams.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
• Private Equity experience preferred
