Key Responsibilities:

  1. Works as a core member of the Immunology business development team and collaborates with Therapeutic Area leadership and senior management to impact decision making.
  2. Supports new business development activities, including negotiations, due diligence, and integration efforts.
  3. Prepares briefing and discussion materials on recommended transactions.
  4. Manages concerns, risks, and issues during negotiations by addressing questions and problems through analysis and research.
  5. Leverages consulting, technical, analytical, and management skills to deal with execution issues including due diligence, valuation, and post-transaction operational considerations.
  6. Uses competitive analysis to evaluate, filter, and prioritize opportunities.
  7. Prepares ad hoc analyses as needed. Supports, and documents the lifecycle of each opportunity and project.
  8. Partner with BD, R&D, and J&J Innovation Centers to coordinate Partner interactions at key industry events (JP Morgan Conference, BIO, etc.) and may participate in partner discussions.
  9. Manages the tracking of opportunities and alliances with regarding to key decision/inflection points.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS minimum requirement, MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant business experience required
  • Healthcare or Pharmaceutical experience is required
  • Experience in licensing and/or M&A preferred
  • Experience with business analytics preferred
  • Marketing and/or finance experience preferred
  • This role requires up to 15% domestic and international travel
  • This role can be based out of Titusville, NJ or Springhouse, PA

The base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal, and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
