Overview

THE ROLE: The Director, Treasury & Global Payments will have a global scope of responsibility and report to the Corporate VP/Treasurer. The Director will lead treasury initiatives related to facilitating the efficient transfer of funds to achieve global objectives. Responsibilities include managing and monitoring the credit card processing strategy, collaborating with various departments to support Herbalife’s operating and distributor-facing initiatives, overseeing distributor payment programs, and evaluating methods to expand global distributor payments. The role involves working with technical teams to implement new technology, facilitating communication between internal personnel and external partners to optimize payment experiences, and managing the credit card fraud team to minimize losses and improve fraud prevention methods.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

  • Oversee the global credit card merchant services strategy to minimize costs and optimize the platform's utility.
  • Develop alternative methods for making and receiving distributor payments to enhance ease of doing business.
  • Lead or support cross-departmental projects aligned with Treasury objectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payment process issues.
  • Provide strategic insights on Treasury matters such as banking, FX trading, investing, and debt management.
  • Support other Treasury functions as needed to ensure continuity.
  • Lead or support special projects as required.

WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM:

The Corporate Treasury team manages global cash and banking operations, ensuring efficient fund distribution and collection across many countries, navigating a fast-changing payments environment with emerging technologies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Director will oversee the credit card fraud prevention team manager and an insurance manager.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • 10+ years experience in a large multinational Treasury department
  • Knowledge of credit card processing and electronic payments systems
  • International Treasury experience (banking, FX, debt, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial statements; proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across functions
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication across cultures and countries

Education

BA/BS degree in a business-related field
