Assistant Teacher
Full Time/Part Time

Duties

Create weekly lesson plans that align with our themes
Develop a creative program that is suitable for preschool children.
Design lessons that help children identify colors, shapes, numbers, etc., and engage in arts and crafts.
Organize nap and snack time, and supervise children to ensure their safety at all times.
Monitor children's progress and report to parents daily.
Possess good communication skills and be willing to work well with others.
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.

Requirements

First Aid/CPR Training
Ability to pass a background check
10 hour Virginia Preservice Training
TB Test
6 months of supervised programmatic experience
Highschool diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

MAT Training
Food Handlers certificate
Previous experience
Degree in Early Childhood Education
Associates Degree
