Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician

Fusion Optix, a rapidly growing LED lighting technology company, is a leading manufacturer of architectural-grade LED lighting products. We are seeking an experienced and talented Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our LED Assembly production team. This role requires strong technical skills and leadership abilities to support a fast-paced, volume-production environment. The ideal candidate will have prior mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience and be capable of assembling a wide variety of LED lighting products, performing quality checks, and maintaining production logs.

About the Role:

  • Assemble custom LED light fixtures using LED modules, wire harnesses, power supplies, optics, and other components.
  • Conduct tests on assembled LED light fixtures to ensure functionality and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Perform minor customizations or modifications to LED light fixtures based on customer requirements or engineering specifications.
  • Identify and propose process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve technical challenges.
  • Inspect components to ensure compliance with quality and specification standards.


Reporting: This position reports to the Production Supervisor and operates as an intermediate-level technician within the assembly team.

About You:

  • Reliable, ethical, team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Education or work experience related to electro-mechanical or LED lighting products.
  • Prior hands-on experience assembling electronic and mechanical modules in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency with mechanical and electrical hand tools.
  • Ability to read assembly drawings and execute tasks from written instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills.
  • Appreciation and adherence to safety policies and procedures.
