Industry- Consumer goods, large, public company, 2B in revenue, 3000ee, about 400 in HQ office, reports to Director of Trade Compliance & Logistics

Hours- full time

Location- Lakeville, MA (hybrid - 3+ days onsite)

Background- Criminal check & 5 panel drug screen (includes marijuana)

Why Open- Busy / extra help needed. This role is focused on export work.

Must haves:

-Logistics, supply chain or purchasing experience

-Has worked with export documents

-MS Office (Excel & Word)

Preferred:

-AGS, Integration Point, OneSource and Warehouse Management System

-Manufacturing industry

Job Description: Export Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Create all export documentation required to successfully ship product to international customers and sales subsidiaries
• Create reports out of Warehouse Management System necessary for creation of export documentations
• Confirm all processes are followed to ensure documentation off all export shipments meets standards to ensure the smooth flow of shipments and to avoid late delivery or potential fines to the company
• Coordinate shipment assembly for overseas containers while ensuring adherence to FTZ guidelines
• Utilize AGS and WMS to organize container loads and to monitor progress on assembly of load
• Provide status updates to International Customer Service on the status of shipment components and readiness to ship
• Research any issues associated with International Shipments and ensure correct allocation of freight costs to corresponding cost center
• Support scheduling shipments and pickup with export freight forwarders to meet customer service goals
• Maintain export schedule and share with Outbound Operations Team
• Research, run and analyze queries related to freight costs to ensure the best price
• This role is responsible for making the final decision on freight options, based on completed analysis.

Experience:

· Proficient with MS Office (Excel & Word).

· 4+ years experience of dealing with freight forwarders, supply chain, purchasing and logistics.

· Has reviewed export documents.

· AGS, Integration Point, OneSource and Warehouse Management System experience is strongly preferred.

· Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal & external customers.
