Job Description

Position: Farm Equipment Operator
Pay: $50,000/ year + bonuses

Key Responsibilities:

Operate advanced farm equipment, including tractors, planters, sprayers, and harvesters, to carry out field operations such as planting, fertilizing, spraying, and harvesting.
Perform daily inspections, routine maintenance, and minor repairs on farm equipment and trucks to maximize operational uptime.
Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and cleaning before and after field operations.
Maintain accurate records of loads hauled, maintenance completed, and fieldwork performed.
Support general farm activities as needed, including loading/unloading materials, staging equipment, and helping with seasonal tasks.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating large agricultural machinery.
Strong mechanical skills and ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
Familiarity with precision agriculture technology and GPS systems is a plus.
Ability to work extended hours during planting and harvest seasons.
Team player with strong communication and time management skills.
Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test.
