The Amazon Customer Service Finance team is looking for a Finance Manager to join our growing business to partner with the Worldwide Capacity Planning team. You will work closely with your business partners to define roadmaps, identify the right business strategies, and provide guidance and reporting. The successful candidate will be a self-starting contributor with effective business partnership experience and proven abilities to manage complex projects and dive deep into the details when needed. This person will partner with finance and business leaders across several teams to provide strategic guidance, tactical direction, and decision support.

Key job responsibilities
•\tProvide financial guidance in matters of site strategy and network simplification, HC prioritization decisions, other strategic initiatives and cost reduction ideas influencing OPEX.
• Build and own financial modeling for multi-million dollar investment decisions, partnering with the business on inputs and design, including designing and managing mechanisms to enable performance monitoring.
•\tLead and author Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reviews, presenting financial summaries and insights to CS Leadership.
•\tProactively design mechanisms to enable performance monitoring.
•\tInspect Headcount investments and project prioritization decisions and make trade-off recommendations to maximize value creation for the business.
•\tSynthesize large volumes of data and present findings to senior management.
•\tLead cross-functional workstreams including driving requirements agreement and delivering results, gaining buy-in from partner teams and designing and executing plans to drive adoption of changes.
•\tProvide mentorship to junior team members and participate in team-wide educational efforts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
