Job Description

*Overview*
The Finance Manager, under the general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related laws, procedures and regulations; ensuring accurate tax filing and financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth and profitability.

*Experience*

*Required*
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field;
* five years’ experience as a Finance Manager or similar role
* strong knowledge of accounting standards, and financial principles, practices, and regulations; experience collecting, analyzing, and compiling financial information for internal or external stakeholders
* experience or knowledge identifying pipelines for new business growth, including new markets, new distribution channels, or new products; experience with banking, lending, or investing; experience with managing budgets;
* proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, financial software, and an electronic health record (EHR)
* knowledge of revenue cycle and medical terminology

*Preferred: *Master’s degree in business administration; CPA license; prior experience in healthcare, prior experience with Sage 50 and Epic EHR.

*Duties*
* Manages and oversees the daily operations of the finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
* Prepares and analyzes financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Maintains knowledge of and analyzes industry trends and financial health of company.
* Conducts financial analysis and provides insights to support strategic decision-making.
* Oversees the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations and monitors and enforces compliance with tax and financial reporting standards. Coordinates and manages the annual audit process.
* Monitors cash flow and assists with cash flow forecasting, manages banking relationships, and optimizes working capital. Closely monitors key revenue cycle metrics and communicates trends to CEO and leadership.
* Assists in research, analysis, and remediation of complex data issues. Prepares quantitative analyses and reports.
* Develops and implements financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Leads and mentors finance staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Collaborates with CEO, Executive Committee, leadership, and departments to support overall business objectives. Assists in identifying and mitigating potential future risk. Advises CEO and Executive Committee on decisions related to company finances.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Varied activities including sitting, standing, walking, and bending. Fine motor coordination to use computer, telephone, and standard office equipment. Ability to type at an acceptable rate of speed for varying periods of time. Occasional stress from workload.

Pay: $80,300.00 - $112,179.00 per year
