Intermountain Christian School (ICS) - a close-knit, mission-driven, PreK-12 school - seeks a Head of School who will serve as both spiritual shepherd and strategic leader. Location: Intermountain Christian School, Salt Lake City, UT (on-site) Start date: July 2026 (202627 school year) Compensation & Benefits: $130,000 to $150,000 annually. Demonstrate Operational & Financial Acumen: Provide strong organizational oversight, data-informed decision-making, resource development, and financial leadership for long-term health. Responsibilities Reporting to the ICS School Board, the Head of School will: Directly supervise the Dean of Elementary School, Dean of Middle & High School, Athletic Director, and Operations Team; indirectly supervise all employees. Lead academic, spiritual, and cultural direction in alignment with ICSs mission and values. Oversee curriculum, instruction, and faculty development to ensure excellence and robust integration of faith and learning. Recruit, develop, and hold faculty and staff to high professional and spiritual standards. Establish operational efficiency through systems of accountability and data-informed decision-making. Direct strategic growth in enrollment, financial sustainability, and advancement initiatives. Cultivate donor relationships and strengthen partnerships with local churches and Christian organizations. Serve as a visible, approachable presence with students, parents, and community stakeholders, including the Spiritual Accountability Partnership (SAP) of church leaders.
