At Humbug Holiday Lighting of Lake Norman, we're pleased to offer a seasonal position as a Holiday Lighting Installer. This position is from October to January; however, we are looking for exceptional individuals for our Mosquito Hunters division, and your performance may put you in the front of the line for opportunities after the holiday season.
As Humbug's Holiday Light Installer, you will be professionally installing, maintaining, and removing holiday lighting systems at residential and commercial locations. This is a fun time of year, bringing smiles to people and being able to step back and admire a job well done. Join us!
Pay $15-18 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
What You'll Be Doing Working with a team of experienced holiday lighting installers to design, set up, and take down lighting systems at client properties.
Loading, unpacking, and carrying ladders/equipment.
Climbing and working from ladders as well as roofs.
Receiving full training on ladder safety and fall-restraint systems when on roofs.
Ensuring the safety of your yourself and others on your team by maintaining safety standards.
Locating, reporting, and troubleshooting power issues related to lighting systems or lit decor.
Organizing lights, decorations, tools, inventory, and inventory within vehicles as well as storage facility.
Maintaining a positive attitude with customers, fellow employees, and supervisors.
What We're Looking For No experience required. We are looking for people with a solid work ethic.
Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.
Must be able to work weekends and some early evenings.
Strong problem solving and multitasking skills.
Not afraid of heights.
Ability to regularly lift objects weighing 10 pounds or more.
Occasionally lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Good driving record.
Basic electrical knowledge is helpful, but not required.
Requirements Valid driver's license.
Agree to take and pass background check and drug test.
Be punctual and reliable.
Ability to speak and understand English.
Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
