Industrial Painter Trainee – Start Your Career in Industrial Painting

Location : McConnellsburg, PA | Contract-to-Hire | Full-Time

This Painter Trainee position is a great entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in building a career in industrial painting. Whether you have some hands-on experience or are just getting started, we provide the training and support to help you succeed.

What You’ll Do

• Learn to operate overhead cranes and handle large parts safely.
• Train across multiple production areas to build a strong foundation.
• Follow detailed instructions and read blueprints to complete tasks accurately.
• Focus on quality and precision in all painting-related work.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Some experience or exposure to painting—whether through work, school, or as a hobby.
• Ability to use tape measures, hand tools, and power tools.
• Background in manufacturing or assembly is a plus.

Work Schedule & Environment

• Training on 1st shift (7 AM – 3 PM).
• Transition to 2nd shift (3 PM – 11 PM)
• Work conditions include heat and exposure to the elements.
• Required attire: jeans, steel-toe boots, and a clean work shirt.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.75/hr.
