Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Product Manager with a positive attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset to join our innovative team. This role is essential in managing both existing and new products. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of tasks, from sample review to competitive analysis, product compliance, packaging, pricing analysis, and all other aspects related to our products.
In this collaborative and team-oriented environment, you will work closely with both domestic and overseas cross-functional teams to streamline and enhance business processes critical to our growth. Your ability to foster teamwork and bring creative solutions will be key to driving success.
You will coordinate with all areas of the business, including operations, sourcing, sales, marketing, and team members across different regions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage existing and new products to ensure product specifications, quality, and product delivery meet business goals.
- Manage and organize product samples. - Review and test product samples. - Work closely with domestic and overseas cross-functional teams.
- Create and manage product documentation, including but not limited to product setup, specifications, test reports, certifications, packaging, design artwork, and product creative assets.
- Conduct and manage product competitive analysis, including pricing analysis and market trends.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align product development with market needs and support sales initiatives.
- Assist the sales team by providing detailed product knowledge and competitive insights to enhance customer engagement.
- Support preparation of trade shows.
- Participate in trade shows to represent the company, gather customer feedback, and identify potential business opportunities.
- Conduct retail store audits to assess product placement, pricing, promotion, competition, and overall store performance.
- Analyze competitor products through market research to identify gaps and opportunities for differentiation.
- Work with overseas clients and suppliers to manage sourcing projects efficiently.
- Familiarize with consumer products testing and certification requirements.
- Manage project timelines across various cross-functional teams.
- Oversee development projects such as packaging design and improvement initiatives.
- Support cross-functional projects/tasks that contribute to organizational goals.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- 3- 5 years of experience with consumer products, experienced in managing products for major US retailers is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for quality and organization.
- Technical curiosity and process-driven mentality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced working with overseas team members and manufacturers.
- Ability to work with a variety of cross-functional teams.
- Able to juggle multiple tasks.
- Collaborative, resourceful, ability to learn quickly and adapt to an evolving atmosphere.
- Speak/write Mandarin is a plus but not required.
