**Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) • Corrections • Day Shift**

**Location:** Huntsville, Texas

**Job Description:**

Seeking a dedicated LVN for a correctional facility. Ideal for those who excel in dynamic environments.

**Responsibilities:**

• Deliver nursing care and administer medications.
• Monitor and report patient health changes.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team.
• Float between units within a 50•mile radius.

**Schedule:**

• Day shifts starting between 0400•0600.
• 36 hours/week, with potential overtime.
• 4•week block scheduling.

**Qualifications:**

• Valid LVN license in Texas or compact state.
• BLS and IV Therapy Certification.
• 2 years RN experience, 1 year in Acute Care or Med Surg.
• Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych preferred.
• Ability to work independently.

**Additional Requirements:**

• COVID•19 vaccination required, exemptions accepted.
• Resilient and professional demeanor.
