Our client is a fast-growing AI-powered political data and analytics platform is seeking a React Native Mobile Engineer to join its engineering team. In this role, youll be instrumental in developing and optimizing mobile experiences that empower political campaigns to make smarter, faster decisions on the go. Your work will directly impact how campaign teams interact with data in the field, helping them execute winning strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android
• Optimize performance to ensure fast, responsive, and smooth user experiences
• Work with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI with attention to detail and accessibility
• Build reusable components using TypeScript and scalable frontend architecture
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate secure and efficient APIs
• Contribute to best practices for animations, gesture handling, and mobile accessibility

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile development with a focus on React Native
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, React Navigation, and state management libraries
• Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs into mobile applications
• Proven track record in optimizing performance and delivering seamless animations
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines, app store submissions, and OTA updates (e.g., CodePush, Fastlane)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment

Bonus Points

• Experience working with Expo, native modules (Swift/Kotlin), or AI-driven mobile applications
• Previous experience building products in political tech, analytics, or campaign strategy
• Willingness or ability to relocate to Washington, D.C.
