Job Description
AC Care LLC is looking for a motivated, compassionate, dedicated, energetic, responsible and hardworking RN/LPN to provide skilled nursing care to a special needs’ young adult in his home and/or accommodate him to adult day program. This opening is seeking several on-call nurses.
On-call weekday shifts must be able to start at 7:30am or earlier in the morning and stay to 3:30pm or later in the afternoon, the shift can be up to 12 hours during the week if on-call. on-call weekend shifts must be able to start 8 am or earlier and stay to 4:00pm or later.
In addition to medical care, the nurse is also responsible to personal care such as talking to the client, diaper change, dressing, position change by using lift, placing on various braces, shower, range of motion, oral feeding and/or g-tub feeding for liquids and oral feeding with pureed food, and assisting in Day Program activities.
This position is looking for an active working nurses, able to communicate to and play with the client. some orange of motion exercises. This position is not a position for nurse sitting from a distance and observe. Interaction with the client is a must.
The pay rate is $53 (on call rate when more than two weeks advanced notice), the pay rate would be $57 (on-call rate when less than two weeks advanced notice), and $63 (on call rate when less than five days advanced notice).
