What to Expect in This Position...

As a Universal Banker, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer experiences to both current and potential clients. Your effective communication skills and in-depth knowledge of our products and services will shine as you create meaningful connections. You'll also have the opportunity to identify referral opportunities that lead to outstanding customer service outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service, analysis, and consultation for all customers while accurately processing transactions and supporting sales.
• Handle transactions for various bank products and services, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier checks, and account management.
• Reconcile and balance teller drawers, vaults, and night depositories, investigating discrepancies as needed.
• Provide courteous customer service while cross-marketing products and services to generate new business.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for all bank deposit products and transactions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Assist customers with online banking access and user functions.
• Perform additional duties such as answering calls and processing incoming mail, while supporting other departments as necessary.
• Exhibit professionalism and foster positive working relationships within the team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service, sales, or cash handling experience, preferably in a banking environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a courteous and professional demeanor.
• Comfortable interacting with diverse audiences and building rapport.
• A collaborative team player with a passion for delivering remarkable customer service.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a focus on quality work.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
