Pharmacy Clerk - Moline, IL at Optum summary:

As a Pharmacy Clerk at Optum in Moline, IL, you will operate automated machinery to sort, package, and transition medications through various workflow stages, ensuring accuracy and quality control. You will assist pharmacists by receiving, shipping, counting, and labeling prescription medications and divvyPACKS. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and working onsite Monday through Friday in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

In this position, you will be working to ensure the right medications are put in the right divvyPACKS, working directly with the robotic machinery, and transitioning divvyPACKS through the different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control. You will aid pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing.

Location: 4300 44th Ave. Moline, IL 61265

Schedule: Monday through Friday 11am-7:30pm

Primary Responsibilities:

• Run the automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications, including filling exception trays with the appropriate medication and transitioning the different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control
• Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items
• Pack and ship completed divvyPACKS, which includes printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser and shipping boxes
• Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to stand 8 hours per day
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to see objects at close vision, identify and distinguish colors
• Ability to pick and pinch small tablets with fingers, seize, hold, grasp or turn objects with hands; perceive the size, shape, temperature, or texture of objects by touching with fingertips
• Ability to work onsite at 4300 44th Ave. Moline, IL 61265, Monday through Friday between the hours of 11am-7:30pm
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Soft Skills:

• Ability to solve problems and communicate issues clearly with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
