Job Summary:
As the Plant Controller you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of our manufacturing operations. This position will provide key support to the plant manager and while reporting directly to the Finance Director. You will be responsible for overseeing cost accounting functions, analyzing production costs, and providing insights to optimize operational performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting principles, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance individual who is seeking to play a key role in the build and scale up of the organization. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee cost accounting, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Analyze production costs, develop KPIs, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for plant operations.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and financial compliance.
• Identify process improvements to enhance operational performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA a plus.
• 3+ years in cost accounting and financial management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Experience:

• 3+ years of cost accounting experience preferred.
• 3+ years of plant financial management experience preferred.
