Job Description The Production Planner II will provide planning and coordination support for the Power and Propulsion Solutions (PPS) business area. This role is responsible for monitoring and managing work-in-process (WIP) on the manufacturing floor, supporting both direct production and cross-functional support teams. The Production Planner II will develop a solid understanding of Oracle and FactoryLogix systems and will learn the foundational principles of material planning and our MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and track WIP inventory on the production floor to ensure accurate status and alignment with build schedules.
Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to support efficient material flow and production execution.
Learn and utilize enterprise systems including Oracle ERP and FactoryLogix MES for planning and execution tasks.
Support the transformation and movement of product through different manufacturing phases, ensuring data accuracy and physical accountability.
Gain proficiency in material planning techniques, MRP outputs, and inventory control practices.
Help identify and resolve material shortages, schedule delays, and other planning-related issues in a timely manner.
Participate in daily production meetings and provide updates on material status and production risks.
Assist in driving actions that support on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Hands-on experience using Oracle ERP systems.
- Familiarity with basic shop floor operations and manufacturing flow.
- Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement attitude.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Associate s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production control, or material planning environment.
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a production or planning role.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $42436 - $67898

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
