Summary

Preschool Performing Arts Teacher
We are looking for a high-energy and creative individual to teach children (1 year old to 11 years old). If you are passionate about positively impacting children's lives and making waves in the world of early childhood education, then this position is for you!

Required Experience and Skills:

• Knowledge of Sports, Dance, Music, Fitness, and Tumbling is a plus.
• Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and engage in physical activities including but not limited to jumping, running, walking, hopping, and skipping.
• Must be a team player, able to adapt to a continuously changing, fast-paced environment, and make the children's needs the primary focus.
• Have a love for children and a strong desire to make a difference
• Early childhood classroom teaching experience (Desirable).

Duties

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Teach sports, fitness, dance, music, and tumbling to all age groups. (Initial training and coaching will be provided).
• Implement and create lesson plans based on a monthly theme.
• Complete necessary classroom reports.
• Supervise children at all times maintaining a secure, safe environment for children to play and learn in.
• Attend ongoing training to keep education and regulations up to date.
• Follow the center?s policies, procedures, and regulations as those from DCF.

Requirements

Required Education/Certifications:

• High School Diploma required
• 45 DCF Hours preferred
• CPR and First Aid
