This role supports engineering development, integration, testing, and transition to production efforts on complex electronic modules. The candidate will provide electrical engineering support to a dynamic development team, leading first unit testing, design verification, integration, and transition tasks on complex digital circuit cards and modules. The successful candidate must possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work cross-functionally within hardware and other engineering disciplines. Discretion and independent judgment are essential in technical areas. This position may include activities such as: Design of complex analog circuits Design of point-of-load power supply circuits Agile hardware development, risk-reduction prototyping, and requirements-driven design and verification Knowledge of aerospace/defense industry development processes, including MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461 standards Utilization of state-of-the-art electrical engineering design and analysis tools Familiarity with design, analysis, and manufacturing standards for multilayer rigid and rigid-flex CCAs Hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation and equipment Experience with interface standards like RS-485, Mil-Std-1553B, Ethernet Leading and mentoring junior engineers Supporting testing and troubleshooting of digital modules and systems Collaborating with various functions to resolve defects Improving product and test design methodologies to reduce costs and enhance quality Reviewing and generating technical documentation Interfacing with government customers and suppliers Training and supporting technicians and manufacturing staff Supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions Mentoring peers and junior engineers Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree with approximately 8 years of work experience or equivalent Experience in Power Supply/Systems Design, Analog and Digital Circuit Design Proficiency with PSPICE or similar simulation tools Board design experience Familiarity with Cadence Allegro for schematic capture and PCB design Experience in RF circuit design and microwave technology Proficiency with active and passive electronic devices Eligibility for DOD Security Clearance Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Active Secret Clearance (highly preferred) Experience with industrial temperature components (automotive grade) Design experience with aircraft circuit cards CAD-based schematic capture, simulation, and layout skills Ability to direct layout and routing, including post-routing simulation Proven success in complex electronic system design and testing Research and application of electrical engineering principles to solve problems Leadership skills and ability to work effectively in teams Strong problem-solving, judgment, and analytical skills Ability to manage tasks independently and lead projects Excellent technical communication skills, both written and verbal Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $115,779 - $196,825 Note: Salaries depend on various factors including skills, experience, and market conditions.
