The Business Development Specialist will provide support to all marketing and business development activities across all Bryson divisions. This position works collaboratively with management and specifically with the Chief Strategy Officer and CEO on key projects. The successful candidate helps create and implement business development and marketing strategies that assist in developing new client relationships, deepening, and expanding existing relationships, and enhancing brand recognition for our company. The person in this position will demonstrate sound professional and personal judgment, strong business acumen, polished interpersonal skills, ability to work well independently as well as on a team, ability to work at a fast pace, handle changing priorities, and have the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.

  • Research organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain relationships that result in generation of new sales leads
  • Maintain fruitful relationships with existing clients
  • Attend networking, conference, meetings, and industry events (e.g., all ACG functions and relevant events)
  • Meet weekly with the Marketing and Business Development Team (CEO, Chief Strategy Officer, and Director of Marketing).
  • Work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer to prioritize daily and weekly duties
  • Assist in managing the calendars of the CEO and Director of Business Development by setting up calls and meetings with prospects and clients
  • Assist in planning and execution of new marketing initiatives
  • Follow up with any potential prospects that come from these marketing initiatives either email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and follow up on these opportunities accordingly
  • Assist in creating a tracking system for lost/open opportunities based on renewal dates
  • Assist Chief Strategy Officer and CEO in Project Management for new opportunities
  • Proactively participate with the creation and implementation of business development projects and provide hands-on support and follow up
  • Maintain our email list and marketing campaigns working in conjunction with our marketing consultant
  • Support of the creation and maintenance of sales workflow in Bryson Financials client relationship management (CRM) database called Epic and Slack.

Education| Experience | Skills

Exhibit a high degree of initiative with excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and follow-through skills in order to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-pace, deadline-driven, detailed-oriented work environment

Proactive and self-motivated; ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Proven ability to professionally interact with prospects and clients

Computer proficient with excellent technological skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of Salesforce CRM database and Slack

Excellent organizational and written skills, strong verbal communication skills, a high level of attention to detail

Excellent customer relationship skills
