Job Description

We are seeking a tech-savvy Researcher to join our executive search team. This individual will play a critical role in identifying and engaging top-tier executive talent by combining traditional research excellence with next-generation tools. The ideal candidate is fluent in AI-driven sourcing, data automation using workflow software, and thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple concurrent searches across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate Research & Sourcing

  • Conduct targeted market mapping and talent identification for executive-level searches using AI-enhanced tools (ChatGPT, LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, etc.)
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies leveraging workflow software automations to streamline candidate discovery, data enrichment, and list generation
  • Build comprehensive long lists and short lists based on client specifications and search strategy
  • Apply Boolean logic, AI prompts, and automation workflows to expand reach and reduce manual work
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and executive talent movements

Data Management & Automation

  • Integrate AI and automation pipelines (e.g., LinkedIn, ZoomInfo) through workflow software for continuous data flow into the CRM/ATS
  • Ensure candidate data integrity, accuracy, and compliance across multiple data sources
  • Build repeatable sourcing automations and process documentation for use by the broader research team
  • Experiment with new AI models, browser extensions, and workflow enhancements to optimize research efficiency

Collaboration & Insights

  • Partner with Recruitment team to refine target company lists and position profiles
  • Present research findings, talent maps, and insights to project teams and clients
  • Support development of market intelligence reports, compensation analyses, and diversity outreach strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to enhance firmwide research and data capabilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, HR, or a related field
  • 3+ years of research or sourcing experience, ideally within executive search, recruiting, or talent intelligence
  • Proficiency with AI-based sourcing tools (ChatGPT, LinkedIn AI Recruiter, other LLMs etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience building automations using workflow software (e.g., N8N)
  • Strong knowledge of Boolean and X-ray search techniques
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets, data visualization, and ATS/CRM experience (e.g., PCRecruiter)
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and organizational skills
  • Passion for learning and testing emerging technologies that enhance sourcing and talent mapping

  • Familiarity with APIs integrations for sourcing automation
  • Understanding of prompt engineering for candidate search and data summarization
  • Exposure to executive-level search processes, including board and C-suite placements
