Position: Residential Cleaner - Casual
Location: Parksville, Qualicum, Nanaimo, Oceanside (Various Locations)
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (10–35 hours/week)
Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour + Tips

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform detailed cleaning of residential homes (dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing kitchens/bathrooms, etc.)
• Follow customized checklists and procedures to ensure consistent results
• Use scheduling and routing apps for clock-in/out and navigation
• Represent Arbutus Cleaners professionally with clients and in the community
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and handle keys for select properties
• Collaborate with teammates or work independently based on schedule

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1+ year in residential or janitorial cleaning (required)
• Transportation: Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license (required)
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using smartphone apps for scheduling and directions
• Detail-Oriented: Strong eye for detail with a high standard for cleanliness
• Reliable & Professional: Punctual, organized, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Customer-Focused: Friendly, respectful communication and service

Schedule & Work Conditions

• Monday to Friday daytime shifts (occasional weekends or on-call availability)
• Flexible part-time or full-time hours (10–35 hours/week)
• In-person work across multiple residential locations
• All supplies and equipment provided
• Company is licensed, insured, and covered by WorkSafeBC

Requirements

• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Able to pass a Criminal Background Check
• Comfortable with physically active work and traveling between job sites
