Scope:

The primary scope of a Restaurant Bartender at The Club at Las Campanas is to create a memorable experience for all members and their guest.

This is a Seasonal Role for Summer 2025

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Follow Dining Room Etiquette and Uniform Rules at all times while on property.
  2. Communicates service/inventory needs to chefs, supervisors and managers.
  3. Knowledge of member's names and ability to use guest names.
  1. Knowledge of member's personal like/dislikes with regards to the flow of service.
  1. Inspects cleanliness of silverware, china and glassware prior to use.
  1. Stocks bar area with cleaned and polished glassware, flatware, placemats fresh snacks.
  2. Stocks bar with all liquor, beer and wine inventory. Communicates when stock is below par, checks keg and bottle beer before each shift for quantity.
  1. Sets bar according to type of function and appropriate standards.
  2. Prepares each cocktail according to precise recipe.
  3. Pours consistent and accurate portions of Liquor, Beer and Wine.
  4. Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area.
  5. Develops and maintains positive working relationship with others.
  6. Supports team to accomplish common goals.
  7. Listens to others employees and responds appropriately.
  8. Ensures adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  9. Participates in F&B department quality & sanitation audits.
  10. Stand, sit or walk for a long period of time.
  1. Move, push, pull and lift objects that weigh 25 pounds or less without assistance.
  1. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisor.
  2. Complete all written or verbal audits given by supervisors that encompass:

Relationships:

Internal: All Club departments: For effective communication.

External: Members/Guests: To provide excellent service.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • Experience working in a high paced restaurant, hotel or resort bar.
  • Knowledge of wine, liquor and beer. Innovative cocktails.
  • Attendance to wine seminars and service training strongly preferred.
  • Participate in continuous training to enhance career development and technical areas of expertise.
  • Pass all written or verbal tests given by supervisors that encompass:
  • Club & Members
  • Etiquette & Performance Standards.
  • Wine List, Vintages, Beverages-Alcoholic & Non Alcoholic
  • Menus, Ingredients & Preparation
  • Management, Staffing & Property

Certification and/or License Requirement:

  • Alcohol Server Certification
  • High School diploma required

Skills:

  • Able to multi-task
  • Efficient use of point of sales systems
  • Correctly take and memorize orders using table and seat positions without writing down.

Working Conditions:

Physical/Cognitive Activities:

  • Requires ability to bend, stoop, lift, balance and carry items up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to push or pull items on a cart up to 200lbs.
  • Ability to assist in moving furniture when necessary.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to work with flammable materials, and toxic cleaning chemicals as well as sharp knives and other objects.
  • Ability to move freely on a multi-floor building.
