Hourly Rate: Min: $25.72 Max: $39.64
Under the direct supervision of the coding supervisory, the Credentialed Coder is responsible for the assignment of all ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 Diagnostic and Procedural Codes for all Inpatient, Outpatient, Ambulatory Surgery and Observation and clinic encounters. The Credentialed Coder will abstract each coded record into the Electronic Health Records, and where applicable assign the appropriate MS-DRG and release the record for financial reimbursement.
Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION:
RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CPC preferred.
B. EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of one (1) year coding experience as a RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CPC preferred.
