Back to Basics Learning Dynamics (B2B) is a premier education services provider approaching 40 years of exceptional services.  We offer 1-on-1 tutoring, translating and interpreting, speech and occupational therapists, reading specialists, psycho-educational testing, 1-on-1 test prep for the SAT & ACT and more. In addition, we operate Delaware’s only 1-on-1 Private School (7th-12th grade), Augustine Hills School, located in Wilmington, Delaware.  We were awarded the Best Workplace Award as well as most recently Best of Delaware 2024 - Upstate Tutoring .  Consider joining our Team!   We are looking for expert educators who are looking to make a difference in others with their passion.

 
What we are looking for: 
Passionate teachers available to teach in-person this summer (June and July) in a school setting who want to make a difference.

 
Scope of work  

• Teaching ELA in school setting in Wilmington (19803) with Kindergarten through 2nd graders  IN PERSON
            * Taking attendance
            *Preparing lesson plans using curriculum material 
            *Providing instruction to classroom of 12-14 students

• The program will last approximately 6 weeks. It starts June 17th, and on June 18th there will be training. Then you will be teaching from June 23rd through July 24th Mondays through Thursday from 8:00 - 1:00 p.m.in the classroom.  Applicants must commit to the entire duration of the program. 

• Training will be for school curriculum that will be used for the summer program

Is this you? 

• Passionate about working with young students. 

• Strong communication skills 

• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly. 

• Strong classroom management skills

• Desire to help students continue to build their skills over the summer.

What do we require? 

• Bachelor's degree or higher 

• Delaware Elementary Education Certification 

• A minimum of 2+ year of teaching in a classroom with the level of students noted in the ad (student teaching and practicum excluded from timing noted)

• Strong communication skills 

• Ability to work with students to help them understand the subject material. 

• Dependable transportation and attendance
