Job Description OleOle is utilizing a Stake.com model focusing on cryptocurrencies for all in-match bets. 86% of Bet365 revenue comes from in-match play. Qualifications Technical Skills and Experience: Blockchain Development Experience: Proficiency in building decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts on blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Solana. Deep understanding of cryptocurrency protocols, blockchain consensus mechanisms, and token economics. Proficiency in Programming: Expertise in commonly used programming languages in blockchain development such as Solidity, Rust, JavaScript (Node.js), Python, or Go. Smart Contract Development: Extensive experience designing, deploying, and auditing secure and efficient smart contracts. Familiarity with Solidity for Ethereum or other smart contracts for different blockchains. Cryptocurrency Wallet and Payment Integration: Experience with integrating cryptocurrency wallets (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.) and managing crypto payments securely on a platform. Security and Cryptography: In-depth knowledge of cryptographic principles (hash functions, public-key cryptography, etc.) to ensure secure transactions. Scalability Solutions: Knowledge of Layer 2 scaling solutions (e.g., Optimistic Rollups, zk-Rollups, sidechains) to ensure the gambling platform can handle a high volume of micro-transactions efficiently. Experience with APIs and Backend Integration: Proficient in integrating third-party blockchain tools or SDKs and off-the-shelf backend solutions. Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in blockchain development, ideally with experience in cryptocurrency payment systems or gambling/betting platforms. Proven track record of building and deploying large-scale blockchain systems or financial applications. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and integrate blockchain solutions with an existing tech stack. Experience in working cross-functionally with product managers, compliance officers, and marketing teams to ensure smooth product launches. Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field. Industry certifications in blockchain development (e.g., Certified Blockchain Developer) or participation in blockchain-focused hackathons/projects would be valuable. Compliance and Regulatory Officer Regulatory Knowledge and Expertise: A strong understanding of global and local gambling regulations, particularly jurisdictions like Curaçao, Malta, and other regions that provide licenses for online gambling. Risk Management: Ability to assess regulatory risks related to gambling and cryptocurrency. Experience conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with gambling laws, cryptocurrency regulations, and responsible gaming practices. Licensing and Reporting: Experience in obtaining and maintaining the necessary licenses to operate an online gambling platform in different jurisdictions. Legal Drafting and Documentation: Experience in reviewing and drafting contracts with vendors, payment processors, and affiliates to ensure compliance with gambling and crypto regulations. Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in a compliance role within the gambling, cryptocurrency, fintech, or finance industry. Proven track record of successfully obtaining and maintaining gambling licenses across multiple jurisdictions. Educational Background and Certifications: Law Degree or equivalent qualification in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field. Certifications in compliance (e.g., Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Gambling Compliance Officer) are advantageous. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail is critical for ensuring compliance with the various regulatory frameworks across gambling and cryptocurrency. Ability to effectively communicate complex regulatory requirements to internal teams and external partners. By focusing on these skills and qualifications, OleOle will ensure their Compliance and Regulatory Officer can navigate the complex legal landscape surrounding online gambling and cryptocurrency to ensure smooth operations and regulatory adherence.
