The ideal candidate for this role is familiar with either corporate and/or individual tax and has a strong technical aptitude with knack for problem solving.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare partnership, corporate, and individual federal and state income tax returns and all related work papers.
• Work directly with clients to gather data for preparation purposes.
• Advise clients and be responsible for delivering high quality tax service and advice.
• Assist with strategic tax planning including researching federal tax law and drafting technical memos.
• Review and research financial statements and tax returns to deliver quality service, advice, and tax strategy.
• Assist with IRS audit defense.
• Federal and state compliance reporting.
• Prepare ad hoc reports.
• Additional responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
• CPA and/or Master's in Tax or Accounting preferred
• Enrolled Agent (EA) certification a plus
• Preparation experience of federal tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and/or individuals required
• Intermediate Excel skills required
