Sr. Embedded Software Engineering Manager

Overview

Lead the development of cutting-edge embedded software solutions for a next-generation infusion pump platform. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned engineering professional passionate about advancing healthcare technology and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 10–15 software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence.
• Define project goals, timelines, and resource needs in collaboration with senior leadership to ensure successful execution and delivery.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Drive the creation of innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges using deep technical expertise across multiple domains.
• Provide strategic direction and partner with cross-functional teams and project managers to ensure effective planning and execution.
• Inspire and coach team members to deliver high-quality work on time, taking ownership of their contributions and professional growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 8+ years in software engineering.
• Proven leadership in managing and scaling engineering teams.
• Expertise in embedded systems development using C/C++ , ideally within regulated industries.
• JavaScript Object Notation(JSON) experience is desirable. Experience with Qt is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering complex software products.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience driving process efficiency, agility, and product quality.
