Surgical Tech I - Operating Room at Presbyterian Healthcare Services summary:

The Surgical Tech I in the Operating Room assists surgeons by preparing instruments and equipment for surgical procedures while ensuring a safe and orderly environment. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, along with current BLS certification and knowledge of sterile techniques. Overview:

The Surgical Tech provides assistance and support to surgeons by preparing and providing instruments and equipment during surgical procedures in the Operating Room. Works under the supervision of the surgeon. Facilitates a safe, effective and orderly operating room to maximize patient safety.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Current BLS required
• Short-term training in operating room setting preferr
• Previous experience with handling of sterile supplies and/or instruments preferred
• Working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique
