We are looking for a CPA Tax Manager for our company located in Yuma, AZ. We have been in business for over 40 years. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns for our company . We have multiple businesses (home building, commercial development, farming, and cattle).

This position is based in Yuma, AZ, and you must be willing to relocate .

Additional Responsibilities:

• Be current on updated tax laws and regulations, to ensure compliance and provide informed tax advice
• Assist with succession planning strategy
• Coordinate and correspond with taxing authorities
• Manage audits by taxing authorities as needed
• Litigation support
• Be a part of our team that manages accounting information
• Evaluate reporting systems

Qualifications:

• A current CPA license is required
• A master's degree in taxation is preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in income tax preparation and review is required
• Prior experience in the real estate industry is preferred
• Prior experience in the agriculture industry is also preferred
• Strong leadership qualities
• Preferred tax experience: federal, state, tax issues, and controversy
• Preparing Income tax returns for high net worth individuals
