As a  Training Specialist , you will play a pivotal role in elevating employee skills and performance through the development and delivery of impactful training programs aligned with company values. Reporting to the Bakery Training Supervisor, this hands-on role involves conducting needs assessments, designing engaging learning materials, and supporting all training initiatives to foster professional growth. Your creativity, attention to detail, and organizational abilities will be critical in delivering effective training solutions and ensuring continuous improvement.

 

Shift: 1st (6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m)

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.
  • Assist in developing training programs and prepare training plans as needed.
  • Support the development of the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids, and manuals.
  • Support structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results.
  • Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions.
  • Deliver training courses.
  • Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees’ work behavior.
  • Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes.
  • Stay abreast of the current trends and tools in employee development.
  • Knowledge of electronic training information management systems.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree and 4 years of Manufacturing or Operations experience, OR
  • GED and 7 years of Manufacturing or Operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish required
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat to develop reports and presentations, and training materials as needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Alchemy is a plus
  • Food Manufacturing Experience

 

Pay Range : $28 - $30/hr
