\n\nPACU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n

• Active RN license (Oregon nursing license preferred)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU or perioperative nursing experience\n
• BLS certification (required for healthcare jobs)\n
• Ability to work day shifts and participate in on-call rotation\n
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills\n

\n\nPACU Nurse Responsibilities\n

• Deliver nursing care in pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia Phase I, and Phase II settings\n
• Monitor patients during local-only procedures in the operating room\n
• Administer sedation for select procedures as needed\n
• Ensure high-quality care for pre- and post-procedure patients using the nursing process and established clinical standards\n
• Act as a patient advocate and supervise assigned healthcare personnel\n
• Support hospital mission, vision, values, and policies\n
