About the Role:

The Vet Assistant at Saugus Animal Hospital plays a crucial role in supporting veterinarians and ensuring the well-being of animal patients. Minimum Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgeries by handling animals and preparing necessary equipment.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and behavior of animals before, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms, kennels, and surgical areas to ensure a safe environment.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and restock as needed to support daily operations.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners to provide updates, instructions, and support regarding their pets’ care.
