Description of the Role: The Wedding and Events Facility Planner at Dean's Mill Farm is responsible for coordinating and organizing all aspects of weddings and events hosted at our facility in Stonington, Connecticut. Responsibilities: Meet with clients to understand their event requirements and vision Plan and execute weddings and events, including scheduling, logistics, and budget management Coordinate with vendors, such as caterers, decorators, and musicians Handle event details and timelines, ensuring proper setup and breakdown Assist clients with menu selection, seating arrangements, and other event-related decisions Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction Requirements: Prior experience in event planning or related field Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event planning software Knowledge of wedding and event industry trends and best practices Benefits:

About the Company: Dean's Mill farm is a well-established event facility located in Stonington,Connecticut. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our clients. As the wedding and Events Facility Planner, you will join a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding events in a beautiful environment. Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. It shares its property with Dragonfly Equestrian Center and is home to dozens of horses. On the property lies meadows, hiking trails, beautiful fields and Dragonfly Disc Golf. The property can be rented for weddings, birthday parties and other special events. Additionally, the bed and breakfast can be rented by the room or reserved in its entirety for complete privacy. The Farm has the ability to host small private indoor events for up to 50 guests in the Farmhouse. Outdoor tented events are our specialty, with numerous locations on-site that are picturesque for your celebration. Outdoor tented celebrations can accommodate up to 250 guests.
