About the Role

Teachers are responsible for delivering an extraordinary experience, leading intelligently sequenced group or private classes as agreed upon between teacher on HOM Yoga. The type of class is typically Vinyasa Flow, but other classes offered include Yin, Yin Yang, Yoga Sculpt, Yoga Pilates, Restorative and Meditation. We're specifically looking for an early morning teacher (M/W 6:15-7:15am).

The position includes (but not limited to) the following responsibilities:

• • Adhere to HŌM Yoga experience— Instruct groups or individuals in a safe, engaging and inclusive manner
  • Educate students on correct/safe alignment
  • Modify the intensity and offer modifications and support for participants as needed
  • Demonstrate proper form and technique
  • Safely and effectively provide physical support and adjustments to students (when okay with student) 
  • Ensure class begins and ends on time
  • Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class start time and remain 10 minutes afterwards to answer any questions
  • Make yourself accessible and approachable to support each student’s yoga journey wherever they may be on the path
  • Maintain positive relationships with students to encourage continued class attendance and support through their growth
  • Communicate with Owner/ Manager regarding member feedback, scheduling and subbing
  • Other duties that may be assigned to help meet company goals

Qualifications

• • Possess a Yoga Alliance recognized Yoga Certification 
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred
  • Possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification
  • Eager to learn and continue professional development and education
  • Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing
  • In possession of liability insurance
