Job Description

Position Summary:
The Apple (Mac) Technician will be responsible for the deployment, management, and support of macOS devices across the organization. This individual will play a key role in standardizing the Apple environment, ensuring device security, and providing a seamless end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable macOS deployment solutions using tools such as Addigy, Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager, and MDM platforms
• Create and manage configuration profiles, policies, scripts, and patching strategies
• Troubleshoot macOS-related issues, providing Tier 2/3 support to end users
• Collaborate with InfoSec to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
• Manage lifecycle processes including device enrollment, imaging, updates, and deprovisioning
• Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve Mac fleet management
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience supporting macOS in a corporate or enterprise environment
• Proficiency with Addigy, Jamf Pro, or similar MDM platforms
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Experience with Apple Business Manager and zero-touch deployment
• Solid understanding of macOS architecture, file systems, and security
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
• Jamf certification (preferred but not required)

Environmental Conditions:

• The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work)
• Work is in an open office environment with steady conversation and interruption
