The Box Office Staff role involves financial and cash handling duties including compliance with cash handling policies, balancing and reconciling ticket sales, assisting with pricing initiatives, distributing ticket counts, and supporting internal ticket orders and reports. Customer service responsibilities include providing courteous and knowledgeable service in person and by phone, facilitating Will Call and Guest List operations, troubleshooting show night issues, working with Guest Services on ADA requirements, and providing event knowledge and positive energy. Other duties include daily operations on Ticketmaster host system, following shift procedures, maintaining phone systems and cleanliness, updating logs, handling Lost & Found, and assisting management as needed. The position may require offsite venue coverage and ensuring compliance with ADA ticket laws. Required qualifications include knowledge of cash handling, customer service, entry-level Microsoft applications, flexible schedule, tolerance of all cultures, and a high school diploma. Preferred qualifications include attention to detail, ticket sales knowledge, live entertainment operations experience, Ticketmaster host system experience, and ability to identify counterfeit cash/IDs.
