Job Description

Position Summary

Oversees all HR functions within the organization, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, performance management, compliance, and organizational development.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Performs supervisory responsibilities to effectively manage personnel including interviewing, hiring, terminating, training, developing, planning, assigning work, coaching, appraising performance, disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organization's long-term mission and goals.
  • Conducts and completes thorough investigations relating to complaints and grievances received.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) related to HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee engagement, and performance.
  • Conducts market analysis and benchmarking to ensure pay practices are competitive and align with the organization's business objectives.
  • Oversees recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Works closely with company trainers to assist and support leadership development initiatives.
  • Participates in professional development and networking conferences and events.
  • Maintains positive working relationships.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties assigned.

  • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or eight to ten years progressive related experience with at least five years in a leadership role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
  • Ability to travel on short notice
