Union Journeyman must be skilled craftsmen in their trade, and we prefer a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in the HVAC plumbing, pipefitting and/or mechanical equipment service industry. You may be required to pass a satisfactory examination as to your special skill.
Massachusetts Refrigeration License is Required

May be required to satisfactorily pass an examination to identify special skills.
Scope of work shall be limited to commercial HVACR service.
The repair of centrifugal, steam turbines, and absorption machines, open-drive screw chillers and ammonia systems.
Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
What we look for:
Required
Massachusetts Refrigeration License is Required and preferably candidate who is already in the Local Union (Boston 537).
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Five (5) years Commercial and/or industrial, mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
Ability to commit to a 30-Hour OSHA Certification which is to be done after hours and weekends is required upon hire
Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred
Preferably candidate who is already in the Local Union (Boston 537).
Five (5) years of Commercial and or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry
EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
