Junior Node.js Developer

At HydroJug, we’re a fast-growing consumer products company dedicated to helping people reach their hydration goals and live healthier lives. We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will help develop, maintain, and enhance our backend systems using NetSuite, Firebase, React, and other technologies. A major focus of this position will be partnering with our supply chain team to automate reporting and streamline their processes end-to-end. You’ll also support integrations with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, and NetSuite, and work cross-functionally with warehousing, accounting, and operations to ensure smooth data flows and real-time visibility across systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Firebase
- Manage data storage and real-time updates with Firestore and BigQuery
- Assist with integrations between HydroJug’s eCommerce platforms, including Shopify, Amazon, and NetSuite
- Collaborate with the team to build React-based front-end features for internal tools and dashboards
- Work with operations teams to improve supply chain and other operational processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backend services, integrations, and front-end functionality
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with React, Node.js, Bigquery and Firebase services (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Functions)
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and NetSuite
- Basic understanding of warehousing, supply chain and accounting
- Experience with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
