The Piliponsky Lab at the Center for Immunity and Immunotherapies, Seattle Children's Research Institute and the University of Washington invites applications for a Research Scientist position. Research in Dr. Piliponsky’s lab is focused on the regulation of inflammatory processes involving mast cells and myeloid cells, including allergy inflammation and inflammation during bacterial infections. The successful candidate will work with other lab members on new and ongoing research projects and help to maintain smooth operation of the lab. Responsibilities include animal handling, basic molecular biology and immunology techniques for data collection and analysis. The ability to keep accurate, complete records as well as a strong desire to work as part of a team are required Required Education And Experience Bachelor’s Degree in biology, microbiology, immunology, molecular biology or biochemistry. Prior experience in a laboratory setting. Required Credentials N/A. Preferred Research experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, and tissue culture techniques is highly preferred. Compensation Range $25.85 - $38.78 per hour Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
